Winter Vacation - Yui

I enjoyed spending my winter vacation, because I could hang out with my friends, and meet with my friends in high school days after a long separation. We talked a lot, and that made me pleasantly. And also I could eat special meals for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Those made my stomach satisfy.

New Year’s Resolution - Yui

I will go to the United States to study abroad, so my New Year’s promise is to improve my English skills. I have to study English harder so that I enjoy staying in America. I want to learn a lot of things as much as possible there. Not only English but also other things, and want have many good experiences.

New Year - Yui

New Year’s Day is approaching. It is traditional for Japanese people to eat rice cake on New Year’s Day. I may have some rice cakes on New Year’s Day. I like them, but I should be careful to eat too much. Because I usually gain my weight after the New Year holidays.

I would spend my time as always, because I don’t want to think about that the earth would end. I would wake up at same time as usual, and I would eat breakfast as always. If there is the school, I would get ready to go to school, and I would go to school as always.

I spent Christmas with my friends. We got together in one of my friend’s home, and my friend’s father was there too. He was very funny, because he was drunk. I was laughed many times, and also we talked a lot. So we spent happy time.

Before coming Christmas, we can see many illuminations on waysides. I go to Kobe to see illuminations every winter. There are full of people who go to see it. Go through illuminations, there are many street stalls. Soon, your stomach will be full of smells of foods and you will buy many foods.

Winter Vacation - Rina

On December 31, I went to a countdown party with my friends, which held in Expo land. We went there at 5 o’clock, and started riding attractions. There were exciting attractions. We rode most of attractions in there. I enjoyed them, but I suffered from motion sickness. At 11 o’clock, we went to a stage where held a party. There were many people waiting a party. At 11:30 o’clock, one man entered the stage to living up, but his performances were not good. The party was boring for me. Just 10 seconds before 12 o’clock, we started countdown. Our tensions became max. Just became 12 o’clock, fireworks set off. We were excited, and said each others “Happy New Year!” I hope this year will become good time for me.

I went to pay a visit to the Kiyomizu shrine in Kyoto. Many people were there. I threw in a coin to the offering box and drew a fortune slip. It was a ill luck. It shocked me. I whis nothing would happened.

First, I want to study English more hard, and enjoy every class. I’ll graduation next year, so I have only one year to spend time in YMCA. I promise I’ll not waste of my time. Second, I want to join many committees, it has a lot of chances to makes friends, but last year, I didn’t join events positively, so I want to enjoy school events to make friends and good memories. Third, I want to go on journeys with my friends. The best place I want to visit is Kyoto , last year I couldn’t visit there, so I’m planning Kyoto travel. On the summer, I want to go to the sea. I have many places, I want to go. We have to decide on the course to take after graduation, maybe we become busier, but I want to enjoy everyday.

I want to takwe my friends to my home town. Because there are many greenerly.If you feel tired , i'll take you Kouchidani.It is very good place to reflesh. It is very deep forest. And there is little river and many fish. I want to go there!Long time no see!!

My father is a fisherman. He fishes many fishes for us. On a New Year day, we eat a big bream & other fishes every year. I'm looking forward to sea it on the table every year. This year on our table, there were a big bream, young yellowtails, prawns and sea cucumbers.

New Year's Eve
I had really good time on this new year's eve.Since last year, I've been wanted to go to the Kansai airport to see sun goes up. Last year, I went to Kyoto. It was good although my freinds told me that it was amazing to see sun rises from the mountain in the morning on New Year's day! And Kansai eirport is nice place to enjoy it because they have an observatory. So last year I was really looking foward to see it. Actually it was wonderful!! I really loved it. But I was little sad because I couldn't see the sunrise clearly because the weather was not so good, It was cloudy. And I went to there and been waited for long time before that. It was really really chiling outside at night so I got cold. But I was enjoyed it and I felt like I can make a fresh start! I want to go there next year too! Next year, I think I better wearing a more warm socks!

I spent X'mas with my family. My X'mas was very good.But I was very lonely. Because my girl friend went to Italy. I watched Arima grand prix and M-1 grand prix. Arima grand prix is a horse race. M-1 grand prix is manzai champion ship. I want to spend next X'mas with my girl friend.
