The last day of the earth
I would like to stay home, and spend time with my family. At the dinner, I want to eat a hamburg steak, it's a my favorite food,and during the dinner, I want to talk a lot with my family as usual. It' my happy time,before I'll go to the bed, I want to tell about my thanks to my parents. I wish the earth disappeared during I sleep well.
Of course, I hope the earth never disappeared.

New Year
On January first, a relative of mine come together at my grandparent’s house, and we have dinner. It’s my usually new year’s day. We don’t meet often, so we talk a lot and spend good time. The most things I’m looking for is a New Year’s present. Its money, every year I can get money from my relatives, they give money me until I become 20years old. Now I’m 19 years old, so this year becomes last one, so I’m disappointed a little. I’m going to use this money carefully.

　My first memory of Xmas was when I was 6 years old. On December 24, I couldn’t go to bed early because was excited. I believed Santa Claus coming tonight. When I woke up in the morning, there were presents beside my pillow. The present were a doll and doll house. I was so surprised because I hoped Santa Claus gave me these presents. I played with a doll every day. It becomes my treasure.
Year by year, the present became cheaper one. I remember the last present he gave me was letter set. Now Santa Claus doesn’t come to my house, but someday, I believe he come to my house again.

Today I had Chisristmas party for kids. 6 girls & 8 boys came to my home. So yersterday I spent my all day to go shopping and prepare for today's party. I got some sweets, snacks, game and music. Anyway every kinds of stuffs which kids would be like it. It was very good.They enjoyed it very much and me either. But I got very tired!! By the way two days later,on chiristmas day I'm planning to have a party with my frieds. I think it'll be very nice. We'll have so much fun. Tomorrow I gonna go shooping for that.

This is my favorite lyrics. A couple years ago, I saw the movie called 'stand by me' and I really impressed. It's very straight and direct lyrics so I undastood well. I think this lyrics could be for friend, boyfreind or girlfriend,and also family. I think this is relly cute lyrics and I always feel like this way.

At first, when I read lilic, I noticed this song is love song, but I think this lilic has many meanings. For example, I guess this lilic means about friends. When friend get depressed, I'll be the one to cheer up my friend, and I can give he or she some advices. I also guess this lilic means about family. The family have to help each other, and I'll be the one of the family.
I was interested in this lilic, because I can guess many meaning from this lilic.

My favorite person
I want to introduce my favorite person, Esper Ito. He is a Japanese comedian, his face was funny, and his actions are more fanny. For example, when he appears in front of the audiences, he hides into a small bag, and suddenly appears from this bag. He’s so stupid. After appeared, he started trying stupid things, for example, he tries eating some hotdogs, but they are not just hotdogs, they were putting a lot of mustard, so it’s so spicy, but he eats it with his face smiling, but he is crying. This sight is very funny and very stupid. I cannot stop laughing. If you don’t know Esper Ito, you should check him. I think he will become a very famous comedian in the world.

My favorite person is Ota Hikari who is a Japanese comedian. He is a duo with Mr. Tanaka. Their duo name is Bakusyoumonndai. Mr. Ota usually say comical talks, but I think he is a smart person. I saw his TV program last week. He co-stars with Kitano Takeshi. They spoke about Japanese education. I sympathize with his opinions. I respect him.

My favorite person is "gekidan hitori" who is a very famous comedian in Japan. He is so funny that everyone likes him. I like his character, face and the sence of humor. Anyway I like him very much.
He brought up in Alaska when he was a little. When I watched him on TV, he was talking about that he and Arakawa Shizuka(who was the best figure skater in the world last year) were a classmates at there. I was so surprised. He said that his life at there made him so funny.
Recently he published a book. I haven't read it yet so I'm gonna go to bookstore to buy it on this weekend.

Leonardo Vieira is a one of my most favorite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu players.His fight style is so amasing.He never stop to continue his moving during a match, and he has a great story. Last year,he competed in the World submission championship tournament.Though he broke three place of his ankle one month of the tournament ago, he won the tournament.I was inspired by this story, and It encouraged me.

My favorite person is Anna Tuchiya. She is an actress, a model and a singer. I like her face, her song and her lifestyle. She has a child who name is Sky. This name means that he will be a big person like sky. I think that she will be a good mother.

“Momonokandume”
It was written by Momoko Sakura. She is a comic artiest too. She writes a very famous comic “Chibimarukotyan”. She is a versatile person. This book has short stories. All stories are about her real life. They are stupid stories, I couldn’t stop laughing, but I could learn a lesson from these stories. I learned how I enjoy living everyday. She writes that”If you feel, today is boring, you should take a walk, and go to a place where you never visited. Then you can find your new world.” I was impressed by this sentence. I noticed it is important to find enjoyable things by myself. If you feel happy, everything becomes happy. If you feel studying is enjoyable, it become enjoyable. So I started to think things positive, and enjoying my life. If you feel everyday is boring, you should read this book

Favorite book - Mayuko

I want to introduction about my favorit book that was witten by Mr Jacques Mayo. The title is HOMO DELPHINUS. He was a diver who try to dived into the sea. Also he didn't just diver, he loved dolphin very much. He try to continue to keep his strength for dive without a gas cylinder. He said "I can talk with dolphin when I had without cautiousness. I think he had strong interest for nature then who thought about that through his life. But when I heared what he commited suicide, I was shok. Because he liveing in the sea and searching for dolphin forever. I thought he can do that and he must have to do.
Anyway he was die but I can't forget him because I love the sea one of the world . Mayuko

Do you remember “if the world were a village of 100 people”? I’m a student in volunteer course and we use it as a text. This origins was “State of the Village Report”, written by Donella H.Meadows, and it was not 100 people. It was “If the world were a village of 1000 people”. She reported as a column in a American’s newspaper. One professor in Stanford University shifted from 1000people to 100 people, and mailed it his friends. It hover on an internet and many people added their thinking.
“Think global, act local”. I was taught it. The world is a big village. If one of your neighbors were nearly die, would you neglect? Long ago, we had lived helping each other. Now it has been missing. Please don’t think only yourself or your gains. Please look your surrounding and do something for them if they are worrying. It is important to helping each
other in the world.

I was influenced by “Ikiru”which is a book about the samurai, and I learnt the samurai culturefrom the book. I rearized that there is a world of difference between culture of present age and old age. By culture of the samurai, if a shogun passed away,his feudatory had to commit suicide. As I read it, I was made to think about life.

Favorite book store - Takanori

My favorite book is the book store of heaven. The book store of heaven is very easy reading and very interesting. If we die now, we will alive at the heaven. I think so that we will alive at the heaven and we will go to the book store.

I went to watch the movie with my girl friend in friday. The movie was very good. There was a basket ball game in saturday. My team was lost. I had a part time job in sunday. I slept ten hour. This weekend was very tired. I did't my homework...

I met a very kind man in the hotel. He was a American. We went to a slum in Bangkok in the morning. There were many slums from place to place. We walked one slum. Many types of rubbish were there. I heard about slum there. It was very deep. In the afternoon, we went to Chinghai by plane. It took one hour. In the evening, we went to night bazaar. Many shops were on the street. I took a tokutoku that is a Thailand ’s taxi. It was fun.

Sports - Yui

My favorite activity is playing and watching sports, and I also like martial arts. I have taken martial arts for three years. I pray Brazilian Jiu-Jitu three or four times a week now, and I enjoy it. It is great for me to pray sports, because it makes my life fan. I hope to continue it from now on.

Do you know Mixi? Recently, Mixi become popular in Japan. It is kind of a blog. We write a diary and many people can watch it. It is not just blogs, you can chat with your friends, and you can make many friends. Especially Mixi’s good point is you can write a comment about your friend’s diary. A stranger writes a comment sometimes, so it is very fun.
Another good point, there are community in the Mixi, it kind of a chatting room. If you like Jonny Depp, You should go”Jonny Depp’s community” There are many people who likes Jonny Depp, so you can make many friends who have same hobby with you. In fact, I made many friends in these communities. I recommend starting Mixi, and let’s extend our circle of friend ship.

Halloween is not popular in Japan.Because it's　christianity event.For Americans, the simple pumokin has come to symbolize everything that is important and meaningful about autumn.Pumpkins begin to appear at road side stands.Soon afterward, pumpkins will decorate doorsteps at halloween .They'll also be baked into breads and pies.England and Ireland use turnips without pumokin..

Lowson store stared to sell new release goods after Halloween. For example, loaf of pumpkin and kit kat that taste of pumpkin. Please try it. In Universal Studio Japan, you can see the biggest pumpkin in Japan. And if you go to USJ wearing Halloween costume, you can take part in a parade of Halloween. Please enjoy your Halloween.

I heard when a Halloween party, there are many foods at the party, and there are some strange foods. I was interested in it, so I checked it out. First, I found “Eerie Eyeballs”. This picture is very strange. Can you guess what are they made from? They are made from gelatin and marshmallow. It sounds taste bad. I don’t want to eat it, but I think this recipe’s idea is great. Second, I found”Creepy Witches’ Fingers” This picture is strange too. It looks real fingers, but they are cookies. I was surprised when I know what they are made from. I like Halloween.
I'm just curious about how come pumpkin became a symbol of Halloween so I searched it on the Internet....A long time ago, the Irish people came to America and they found pumpkin was suitable for special lamp for its coulor & hardness. Before, they didn't have pumpkin in thier country, they used potatoes or turnipin instead of pumkin. I want to thank to Irish people who found it. In these days, a lots of pumpkin sweet everywhere in a shop. In Japan, there are not so many events involved in Halloween. So for me, Hallowee is the good event to enjoy eating sweet.

Halloween is coming soon, but to tell you the truth, I don’t know Halloween so well. However I know that big pumpkin is used on Halloween day. When I was five years old, there was a big pumpkin which was same thing used by Halloween in the entrance of my house. I asked my grand mother why there was big pumpkin in my house, but now I forgot. Perhaps it was made in a field of my house. I want to know about Halloween more , and I want to know why a big pumpkin is used on Halloween day at this opportunity.

First when I heared Halloween I imaged pumpkin. Recently I saw pumpkin that have face look like ghost at the store. When I was a child my Anerican friend invited me to Halloween party. I wore the costume for witch and we visted many house. Then I said "Trick or treat!!!" that mean if you doesn't give me reward I will do mischief. I enjoyed with my friend and my first experience so I couldn't forget. If I have a chance I would like to go again.

I was born and grow in Mie prefecture.My home town is very small. There are lots of greenery and ponds.
The air is fresh. Do you know Bashou Matsuo?He was born in my home town.Therefore we were in elementary scholl and junior high school, we had to make Haiku in summer vacation.It was homework. movie - "The Goddather" - Yui

Have you seen "The Goddather" in the summer vacation. "The Godfather" is one of the most famous movie about the mafia. Don Corleone is Godfather of one of the most powerful families in New York. His youngest son,Michael wants to distance himself from his families. He does'nt want to do any business that is fear and murder,but slowly he changes the most dangerous gangstar. I think the story is interesting. I want to watch the next story,"The Godfather" Yui

Movie - Shirumido-

The movie I saw last was ゛Shirumido" which is Korean movie. I wasn't interested in Korean movie anyway,
I occasionally watched it on TV proglam.At first I'm not supposed to watch it seriously but the story attracted me.There's national boundaries between 2 countries which is named "板門店"(pann-mun-jhon). An army of each country there were getting along little by little and they became friends. But it wouldn't be good for each other. The last scene was so shocking.
I was so impressed and I could also learned about history between Korea & North Korea.

Movie - "Satoukibi batakeno uta" - Erina

I saw "Satoukibi batakeno uta" 2 weeks ago. This movie shows one family in Japan at the World War 2. It's a heart-warming story. Leading actor is Akashiya Sanma who is a Japanese comedian. I think he is a top of Japanese comedian. I saw this movie 4 times and I wept at same scene. It's really good story. Please check it.

Movie - UDON - TAKANORI

I went to watch the movie three weeks ago. The title is “UDON”. This movie is comedy and very funny. But I slept.I think that to make udon is very difficult. Udon is Japanese very popular food and very good taste.But I don't like udon very much.

My last movie was "World trade center"that about September 11 in United States. The destruction of the two buildings from terrorist and many people dead. In that time also many people tryed to help injured. In this movie the policeman try to rescue from the building. But at that time the building fell down . So the police men was buried under the building. They waited with thire partner .If you are interested in this movie, you should go to theater right now!!! Mayuko

Benny & Joon
It is a heart warming and pretty movie. There are three main characters in this movie. Benny is a kindly man. Joon is Benny's younger sister and a little eccentric person. Sam is a young man who is a little eccentric person too. Jonny Depp acted Sam. The movie produced in 1993, so he was young and very handsome. The story is simple, Joon & Sam fall in love, but there are many problems between them. They have their original world, so their way of loving person is a little deiffrent from other people. It's very cute and I feel I want to advice to them. If you want to be heart warm, I recommend this movie. Rina

I watched 'Mr. and Mrs.Smith' in my home at last month. I thought that this movie is funny. This movie is two main person. One person is BRAD PITT,another is ANGELINA JOLIE. May be I think that they are big actor. At first they were marriage . they were very happy. But they had seacret thing.The thing that their bussiness is 'An assassin'. One day they start to fight by reason of their target person is same. I had never been watched the movie which hasband and wife kill each other. I thought that this movie is interesting idea.

Thailand and Manmar - Erina

I went to Thailand and Manmar in this summer to study about volunteer
work. I will talk about it for 3 mounths.
~the first day~
It was my first trip to go to abroad. We went to Bangkok from Kansai airport. Arrived at Bangkok, many people were waiting their visitor. I was little surprsed at many foreigners. At night, we walked Pappon Street. Pappon Street is a district of bars or industry of sex. There were many signs of Japanese. They were made for Japanese or Westerner in age of rapid economic growth. I was shocked to heard that many young people in Thailand come to Bangkok and sell their body to make money. It made my feeling mixed.

Mt.Minno - Maiko

On this Monday, I spent holiday walking in the Mt.Minno. Mt.Minno is famous for waterfall.In Autumn you can see vriety of beaufifulmaple. So autumn is the best season to go there. It's my favorite place. When I get tired or frustrated, I always go there because one of my friends told me that nature has a power to heal people. When I herad about that, I didin't believe it.
But now I reallized I feel comfortable when I see green & get a breath of fresh air at there.
I love it.

Grandparents's House - Rina

I went to my grandparents's house on Wednesday to meet them. They are 72 years old,but high-spirited. Their smailing face are very warm. I love them. Another reason, why I went there was to try on Kimono. Now, I'm 19. I'll become 20 next year. I'll attend a coming- of age ceremony at the year after next. So I have to choice which Kimono I want to wear. At first, I tried on my mother's one. This picture shows it. I want to wear this Kimono for the ceremony,but it was too small to me. So I gave up
and try on another,but everything were too small to me. I can't buy Kimono because it is too expensive. It costs about three thousand hundred yen or more,so I have to rent a Kimono from Kimono rental shop. I was dissappointed on the day.

Hometown - Yui

I live in Shiga Prefecture. My home town is in the country side in bewteen a lake and mountains. There are many rice field near my house. At this time of year,new rice is harvested. I'm looking forward to eat it. That's delicious.

I have many friends of YMCA. They are very friendly. Hiroyuki is very funny man. Yui is very strong man.Yusuke is very powerful man. Ryo is very cute man. Ryohei is very kindly man. I want to be friendly Atushi. I respect them very much.

I watch TV every day. I like it. Especially I often watch entertainment TV. Entertainment is very funny. What kind of TV program do you like? I think that TV is convenient thing. Today' s my topic is fall.
Resently I felt little bit cold at night, it means coming fall and winter soon.
Fall is short time in a year, but we have some seasonal things.
About food, it is saury, chestnut, persimmon,and oyster etc...
I like chestnut rice. It takes lomg time to cook my mother said..But it is too delicious!!!
And about the places where we can fell fall, in Kyouto.
There have a lot of maple trees. The leaf become red.

When I hear "Japan" I think of this word "Chopstick".
It is either of a pair of thin sticks that are used for eating with. It is difficult to use, but very useful.
There are many designs for chopstick. Some are beautiful and some are cute. Their aew not expensive, so it is just right for sourvenir. I think "Chopstick" is one of Japanese beautidul culture.

Japanease often use chopsticks . But other country don't use it. I don't know why did Japanease start to use it. If you know it, please teach me. when I was elementary school student , I practiced very hard. But I don't use chopsticks very well. it's difficult. I prefer to spoon. which do you like chopsticks or spoon.

In Japan, on new year's day, we get money called "Otodhidama" from our parents or relatives except one who already graduated from college or university. "Otoshidama" usually put a pouch which made for only for its purpose called "Potibuluro". Generally oldest one get more money than his or her younger brothers or sisters. Also parents who have children can get otoshidama from thier parents. In return sometimes they give it to parents thankful for. I think this is very interesting Japanese custom.

Japanese Style- Festivals- Yui

A traditinal festival isheld every year in my home town.The members who join the festival are only chidlen.The members wear a splashed kimono and parson calling “Yabusame”shoot arrows at three marks. It's like a horseback archery,but instead of ride a horse children sit astride a bamboo horse which is head of horse made by bamboo in a point of a stick of bamboo.There are many kind of festival in japan,and Japanese festival is great.

There were samurai in Japan in the old days.They were very cool and they had nice hair style.The hair style called chonmage.My hair style is chnmage too.So I respect samurai.I want to go to edo era and I want to be a real samurai. But I want to cut my hair.
